Cardiovascular research group in primary care
The group is made up of ten members: five physicians, four medical doctors and a graduate in Statistics, all working in Barcelona. Forty-four percent of its members are women. There are five doctors, two of whom are women and one is finishing her doctoral thesis. The group has a recognized track record and was accredited as consolidated by AGAUR in 2017 (2017 SGR 401). The 5 senior members of the group are currently directing 6 doctoral theses of which 4 are related to the group's topics. The lines of work of the group are specifically: 1. Heart failure in primary care: knowledge, attitudes and skills of patients and professionals regarding the management of heart failure. Evaluation of interventions. 2. Arterial hypertension and cardiovascular risk.
